Vanessa Coupe

You may already know what your dream dress is going to look like, or like most brides-to-be you have lots of ideas but can't find one dress that incorporates them all. I will listen to all your ideas, discuss any decoration or trimmings you would like, look through fabric samples and together we will produce a sketch of your final design.

Detailed measurements are taken from which a unique pattern is made (just for you - this means that no-one else will ever have the same dress as you). A "toile" fitting will then take place which is a practice version of your design. This is fitted to you perfectly and any design elements fine-tuned or adjusted accordingly. This 'toile' then becomes the modified pattern for your actual garment. Only when you are completely happy with your 'toile' will I cut out in the real fabric. Further fittings, usually between 2-4, will take place throughout the making up process ensuring that on the day your dress fits you perfectly.

During the design process we can also discuss any accessories you would like to complement your outfit and complete the look.
